Start by signing up for an account on Aimitatio.com. Once you log in, you can connect your preferred social media accounts — X (former Twitter), Bluesky, or Mastodon. Configure your settings to provide basic information and set the context for your content.
Aimitatio uses prompts as the starting point for generating content. You can create prompts tailored to your business or personal branding needs. The prompts are for guiding the AI to create text and even to create a fitting image to the content.
Using the provided prompts, Aimitatio leverages AI models — including our own locally-hosted Teuken — to create high-quality content. The generated posts are based on the context you set, your prompt, and your most recent posts for that account (so new posts don't repeat or closely resemble them). Visual content like images can also be created with FLUX, running on our own GPU alongside the text models. See our full AI Models page for details on what powers each part of the platform.
Posting is automatic — there's no approval step before a post goes out. After each run you get an e-mail with the log: the text that was published, which models produced it, and any warnings. Your post list shows every past post together with the prompt that produced it, so you can see what went out and refine your Context or prompts for next time.
You choose a start time, an interval and an optional random delay, and Aimitatio posts on that schedule — with the random delay so posts don't land at exactly the same minute every time. You get an e-mail log after every run (see Step 4) to keep track of what went out.
Aimitatio doesn't track engagement or reach — what you get is the per-run log e-mail and your post list, showing exactly what was posted and from which prompt. If one prompt keeps producing posts you don't like, rewrite or delete it. If every post feels off, the Context field is usually the place to fix.
